The Magen David, an iconic Jewish symbol is made of two triangles. One pointing up and one pointing down. The one pointing down is symbolic of Tzimtzum where G-d contracts (and hides) His light to form "independent" existence. The triangle pointing up is symbolic of Echad - Oneness, where diverse creation seemly separate entities when pinpointing the source, all folds into Oneness. We are both the Divine and the mortal. We are the duality of both pure G-dly light and the variety of earthly expression. We hold both. This formula is the sweet spot where our work and best living take place.
